Museum Curriculum Portal
Designed for educators, the Museum Curriculum Portal helps you connect Louvre Abu Dhabi’s universal collection and stories to primary and secondary school subjects in all 3 cycles. The portal is mapped by linking teaching subjects to specific artworks and artefacts from the collection, as well as loans from partnering local and international institutions.
Each object is presented with its own scientific artwork label and information while being categorised according to selected curriculum topics and keywords, its location within the museum galleries and its links to a list of core and specialized subjects based on the cycles.
This portal gives teachers the opportunity to use the museum’s content when planning their lessons and academic year. It helps bring the museum into everyday classroom learning and supports teaching across all subjects and to encourage teachers to visit Louvre Abu Dhabi with their students.
