The museum’s university programmes invite students to express, interpret, and discuss various contemporary and historical topics through the museum’s collection and exhibitions. Depending on the programme, the activities are led by either museum educators, artists, or faculty members.

Art History Walk
The Art History Walks programme offers in-depth one-hour sessions that investigate various themes within the museum. Participants learn about significant milestones in human history and understand the narrative of Louvre Abu Dhabi through the stories behind the selected themes and artworks.
There are two types of series:
1. Discover Louvre Abu Dhabi Series Four focused sessions, each featuring a certain epoch from the Neolithic age to the Middle Ages, the modern era, and finally the contemporary period.
2. Islamic Art Series
This series presents Islamic Art, showcasing a world rich in culture, art, and science, as well as examining a way of life that created a unique artistic language reflected in art and architecture throughout the Muslim world.
